Happy Valentine’s Day to you and to MY Valentine! I hope you all had an amazing day.
.
And to everyone that did not have a Valentine today, I hope you had an amazing day too.
.
You should know that I had my first Valentine today since…well…a very long time.
.
My friend and I went to see my Valentine at work today and I gave her a single rose and some candy. I hope she had as good a time as I did. It was a very great day. Thanks to you, My Valentine.

By “cool” I mean “interesting.” I wrote a blog the other day explaining that you are more interesting than you believe. I talked about starting your own business/blog/website like I did in order to gain some good stories.
.
But there are people that don’t want to do that. Do you want to be more interesting without having to put forth all the effort of starting a website, blog, and/or business? Well, you can!
.
To become a more interesting person do the following: read more…
Sometimes when I hear stories from friends, family, or those TV people I start to think that I am not interesting because I have no good stories.
.
But in reality, I do have some stories to share. Some things I do not want to share but some things are really interesting.
.
I realize more and more read more…
We all have crazy busy lives today. Updating our facebook about the stubbed toe. Tweeting that you just walked up the stairs. Whatever it is, there is no doubt, we are busy people!
.
So, how do you have fun with so much to do? read more…
And right now is one of those times. Honestly, I enjoy the Super Bowl commercials more than the Super Bowl. But, that’s just me. I do not watch any sports but if I had to choose, these would be my teams: Giants, Yankees, Devils, and Knicks.

Back on topic. This entry is another one about taking time off, but with a spin! .
While you take time off to enjoy yourself, you can still get things done. How? read more…
I think I briefly discussed this in the blog I posted yesterday but I want to go into detail.
.
You have experienced people being mean to you at one point or another. Some of you experience it everyday.
.
And it hurts! I know. I have been in both shoes, the one being hurt and the one doing the hurting.
.
So, why are people mean to you? Because you show them that it bothers you. read more…
I talked with someone from my college about transferring to Montclair. Believe it or not, I was calm and collected during our conversation. It was after the fact that I got annoyed but began laughing.
.
The sentences in “bold quotations marks” are what he said, granted not exactly. The other sentences are what I was thinking but refrained from saying because the manners in me held me back. Enjoy!
.
I told him I will be taking the train to Montclair because my car is unreliable. “Well, that’ll be expensive.” Please explain how ANY alternative would be less than $150 a month.
.
“The drive to William Patterson is about 30 minutes from CCM.” What part of ‘I have an unreliable car’ did you not understand.

“Montclair is very picky about the classes that they allow to transfer. Let me see if you have any that don’t…Checks…Oh, well, you read more…
We all do it. Do what? Lie about how we feel. Someone enters, asks how you are, and you say “good” even though you aren’t good, even though you are at the verge of tears.
.
So why do you tell people you’re good when you’re really not? There are endless reasons, but here are some:
.
You fear what someone might think of you, your life, or your situation if they knew how you really felt.
.
You feel the person you are talking to will not be able to help. Or, you do not want read more…
This is something you ask yourself all the time. And I am here to answer it.
.
1. The most obvious, treat others as you want to be treated. We have all heard it, but how many of you actually do it?
.
Would you give someone a place to call home when you knew they didn’t know where else to go? If you yourself were that person that needed somewhere to go, I know you would love to have someone offer that to you. So, why aren’t you helping that person you know needs it?
.
2. Act selflessly. I mean it. Do things out of the kindness in your heart, not for some meaningless gain.

I think that title may be the lyrics of a song. Well I just Googled it and it showed up as a quote from Mark Twain which would add emphasis to this entry.
.
“Sing like no one’s listening, love like you’ve never been hurt, dance like nobody’s watching, and live like its heaven on earth.” -Mark Twain
.
I sing like no one is listening pretty much everyday, if not several times a day.

So, why should you? read more…
