I won the school spelling bee several years in a row. To celebrate Daddy would take me out to dinner. He bought me a wrist corsage and we just celebrated.
Daddy, whose own father died when he was two, not only told me that I could achieve anything if I worked hard enough, believed in myself and had faith in God, but he actually showed me through his love and support for my activities that I was special.

Mom was 79 years old when she passed on September 28, 2008 after a three year battle with cancer.
Before mom died there were a number of things she said to us and one of those was that she wanted us to keep the property we had all grown up in the family. My sister Donna and I live on that property but the overhead is hard on us and we are in danger of losing it.
So, we are on a mission to figure out ways to make enough money to pay off this property. Being a photographer has enabled me to take many pictures of the property, and people on it.
We want to develop the “Two Sisters On A Mission” into a concept that whenever two people join forces to achieve a goal, they can do it with perseverance, hard work and support of family and friends.

Here is my life saving moment. I walked into a gym one day and a friend started to help me work out with weights. After a couple of months he asked me if I wanted to enter a bench press contest.
I did and I won. It sent me on a history making course because 4 years later I won my first world championship in power lifting as the 1997 World Champ. I have since won another World Championship in 2003.
